This versatile annual ornamental grass can be used when young when tassels are green and just emerging, or harvest later when the seed head is more mature, more coloured, and arching in form.  (Pictured here at its final mature stage of seed harvest)  Great used fresh or dried.  Similar to broom corn but much shorter and more manageable.
