This unique plant produces gorgeous intense deep blue-violet/purple flowers that start out with buds shaped like balloons and then open up into beautiful star shaped blooms that tip slightly downward.  Stunning in floral work and beautiful in the garden.  Perennial in zones 3-8.  This purplish variety is grown in the same gardens are our white and blush varieties and as such your Florist Blue seed may show some variation in colour if these three varieties were cross pollinated.
 
Approx. 100 seeds/pkt.  Cold moist stratification is suggested to break seed dormancy but we have seen excellent germination rates without this treatment.
