Pimpinella major 'Rosea'

Pimpinella major 'Rosea'

C$4.95Price

This perennial (in our zone 5b) is a delightful alternative to the beloved white umbelliferous flowers we use with its light and darker pink florets which add a light, airy, wildflower look to both the garden and the vase!  Not commonly offered locally, we are pleased to offer this pretty selection!

Approximately 30 seeds/pkt.

Please note: seed requires cold stratification to ensure successful germination.  The easiest way to do this is to sow in very late fall and allow nature to do the rest!  This is what we recommend.  Alternatively, you can sow (1/4" deep) indoors, 8-10 weeks before your last frost date, keep moist and warm for three weeks, then maintain moisture and cover with a humidity dome and place in fridge for 4 weeks to achieve stratification.  Remove and bring back to warmth for germination and growth.  Transplant out once hardened off, after last frost.
