What a great find! This wonderful amaranth grown and shared by a Polish family, bears beautiful deep maroon flowers in summer with dark green foliage with red veining to add even more interest. So striking in the garden! The feathery flower plumes are also wonderful in floral work when plumes are picked young and are not too big yet. The plumes can also be dried. A lovely addition to the garden!
