This delightful perennial (in our zone 5b) scabiosa produces the prettiest petite, soft yellow/buttercream flowers atop tall (3-4') wiry stems which rise up from the foliage.  This lovely plant offers beautiful, muted blooms that add a delicate touch and wildflower vibe to floral work.  As an added bonus, the little seed pods are so cute and can be used both fresh or dried!
