Our perennial Rudbeckia mix contains seed collected from all of our different varieties including the Caramel Mix, Indian Summer, Cherokee Sunset, Maya and more!  Bees were at work on this mix - new and even more beautiful variations are possible with this mix.  Plants may take until year 2 to bloom but these perennials will offer you beautiful blooms for years to come!

Please note: While not 100% necessary (most seeds in this mix are r. hirta which can germinate well without cold stratification), this seed does benefit from cold stratification to ensure the best germination possible. The easiest way to do this is to sow in very late fall and allow nature to do the rest! Alternatively, you can surface sow (seed needs light to germinate) 8-10 weeks before your last frost date by placing your seed onto moist soil and gently pressing in. Cover with a humidity dome and place in fridge for 4 weeks to achieve stratification. Remove and bring in to warmth for germination and growth. Transplant out once acclimatized and hardened off after last frost.
